The Branxton Greta Vineyard News was established in 1997, has a circulation of 4400 and is released on a fortnightly basis. A fortnightly newspaper publication which is distributed free to over 4000 households including Branxton, Greta, North Rothbury, Hunter Wine Country & all outlying areas.
The Branxton Greta Vineyards News has been published since July 1997 and at this stage, we print between 4100 & 4400 copies each fortnight. The newspaper was first published in July 1997, has been a continuous entity since that date & still retains the original editor. The first edition was 16 pages, folded A4 & mono.
In mid-2010 we changed printers & introduced full colour but retained the stapled A4 folded style. In March 2013 we took the steep to ‘full colour tabloid’ which has been very well accepted by the community. From the initial publication the paper has been very well received.
We publish 32 pages which is the equivalent of 64 folded A4. We make a point of each deliverer having to put them into each residence’s mailbox not shewn over their property.
We like to encourage & promote community organisations, our schools, local business by disseminating as much local content as possible.
In early 2016, The Branxton Greta Vineyard News website was created. This has enabled the fortnightly issues to be displayed online.
